Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia
UPCH is a highly distinguished private university in Lima, Peru. Named for Cayetano Heredia, Peru’s most renowned physician during the 19th century, the university is considered one of the top medical schools in Peru, and is currently the major publisher of scientific articles in the country. UPCH is focused on Dentistry, Natural Sciences, Public Health, Veterinary, Nursing, Psychology, and Education. The university offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees in biochemistry, biotechnology, medicine, biology, and Health Administration. UPCH has approximately 2,000 students and 100 full-time faculty members.
Via Maximo Nivel’s agreement with the Field School of Life Sciences at UPCH, we offer credit-bearing courses in Ecology, Conservation, Medicine, Public Health, Natural History, Marine Systems, and Medical Spanish. UPSCH awards credit and issues the official transcript for coursework completed in Peru.
