Education Internships Abroad
Working alongside professional teachers in an international setting provides you with new classroom perspective and helps you grow as an educator.
Education placements are usually in English-speaking classrooms at private schools. Education Interns may choose from early childhood, elementary, middle school, and high school placements. Note that ESL-specific placements are available on request.
Interns observe classroom instruction and management, as well as plan and teach lessons. While teaching, you are observed and receive feedback to help hone your skills as a teacher. As you work through your internship placement, you come to understand school curricula and standards; family and community challenges; and methods for measuring students’ educational development. You gain practical experience assessing student needs, lead educational activities, and learn classroom leadership and teaching techniques.
We encourage you to use your skills and be creative! Be open to constructive feedback about your performance.
